A tree fell on the moving bike and the rider died

Due to torrential rain, a heavy tree fell on a moving two-wheeler and the rider died on the spot near the RTO circle of the city.

The mishap occurred due to continuous heavy rains for the last four days.

A youth named Rakesh Lagamappa Suladala (22) of Siddanahalli village of Belgaum taluk died on the spot. Nemiraja Bhopal Mareppanavara of Anjaneya Nagar was injured.

Rakesh died as a tree fell on his head. Both the two-wheelers were damaged. The injured has been admitted to the district hospital.

North Traffic Police visited the incident site and conducted an investigation. The accident took place in the area of ​​North Traffic Police Station.
